Roubi L’Roubi’s dresses and costumes can be seen in the feature film Nina which was released in 2016. The story of the late jazz musician and classical pianist Nina Simone including her rise to fame and relationship with her manager Clifton Henderson. 

Written and directed by Cynthia Mort, the film stars Zoe Saldana (Nina) and David Oyelowo (Clifton). Nina simone's performance dresses and costumes were designed and produced by Roubi L' Roubi.

Roubi is a member of the Costume Designers Guild (CDG) of Hollywood.
